Dream BIG
Hi team. Great things are happening every day right now. Opportunities are opening. Nearly daily I hear of fresh new successes people are experiencing. Nearly daily I hear of people realising greater potential than they ever thought they had.
But this only happens for one particular group of people. Those that believe in their dream and those that believe in themselves.
wo people look at the exact same opportunity. One says, “I’d love to but I could never do that!” The other simply says, “I’m all in!” (Even if they don’t know if they can pull it off.)
Showing someone how to succeed is easy. Showing someone how to overcome a lifetime of negative conditioning, low self esteem, and self doubt is much harder. How does one do that?
Plant a dream in one’s mind - something they want almost more than air itself. Something they want so bad they’ll overcome all self limiting beliefs, failed belief systems, doubt, fear, low self esteem, and any other obstacles in the mind that hold us back.
When you have a dream you want so bad that it aches in your gut, you want it so bad you cry when no one’s looking, then and only then you’ll reach inside yourself and pull out talents, skills, personal characteristics etc that were always inside you since birth. But now you have a reason to finally develop them.
Every success story starts with colossal desire for a worthwhile dream or goal. Somewhere in the first few chapters of any reputable self development book is a chapter on the divinity of desire. When you have that and become relentless in pursuing it your path to success is paved.
That’s why we say dream big. It’s not just a cute saying. It’s the first and most critical step towards everything you ever wanted in life that has so far evaded you.
That’s why it’s damaging to steal someone’s dream. Judging another persons dream saying things like, “Why would you want that?” You’re stealing someones reason for critical inner growth and the future they could have had.
This week, ask yourself daily what is your dream. A wish or want will not suffice. You’ve got to want it more than that. More determined than that. And when you find it you’ll soon discover that which you crave so craves you.
What’s your dream? It craves you as much as you crave it. But first we have to throw off all above stated obstacles we place in the way. Get rid of them and your dream will, it must come.
